Synopsis: A talented, young getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. When he meets the girl of his dreams (Lily James), Baby sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom.

Crowds went wild for the premier of Edgar Wright’s first directorial effort in four years this past weekend at SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. The full-throttle action thriller, BABY DRIVER stars Ansel Elgort as the earbud-wearing, music-cranking getaway driver for a band of bank robbers led by the psychopathic Buddy (Jon Hamm) and his band of fellow ne’er-do-wells. Reviews coming from the festival are calling the film “a masterpiece,” “supercool,” and “a Fast and Furious Fantasia.”

Because Ansel Elgort’s character listens to his own pumped up mix tape when he drives the getaway car, audiences will be treated to a killer soundtrack. And there's a love story element to it as well. With influences from The Blues Brothers and 1978's The Driver, there’s sure to be plenty of action and loads of cool-ass driving stunts too. Plus, there are rumors that Meryl Streep is in the movie.
