Before they stormed the beaches of Okinawa, they battled it out on the gridiron. And for some, the final whistle would come far too soon.

"Following the attack on Pearl Harbor, four of America’s top College Football stars set their fame aside to enlist in the Marines. As they prepare for the brutal invasion of Okinawa, they’ll play in a legendary game featuring some of the greatest players in history – a game that, for many, will be the last they ever play."

Director Peter Berg (Lone Survivor, Friday Night Lights) tackles another extraordinary true story with The Mosquito Bowl, a hard-hitting World War II drama where football, brotherhood, and battlefield sacrifice collide.

Based on Buzz Bissinger’s acclaimed book, the film follows four college football superstars who trade their helmets for Marine uniforms following Pearl Harbor. But before facing the horrors of war, they take the field for one legendary game that would become a haunting chapter in American sports history.

Starring Nicholas Galitzine, Bill Skarsgård, Ray Nicholson, Tom Francis and others, this one promises plenty of blood, sweat, and heartbreak.
