The Killing Tree

The Christmas tingle just got a new jingle thanks to the madness of The Killing Tree!

You know you want it. A horror movie centering around a killer Christmas tree. Am I right? Well, someone finally did it. Bad taste knows no bounds and that’s why The Killing Tree works as well as it does. Combining comedy with Christmas jeer and a whole lot of beer, Uncork’d Entertainment proudly presents the comic feast that is The Killing Tree!

"Bad taste knows no bounds and that’s why The Killing Tree works as well as it does"

This is what happens when an ancient spell goes tits up. Completely. And, if dark comedy is what you are after when it comes to seasonal bliss then this film is something you don’t wanna miss.

We start on Christmas Eve, as one scorned widow (and practicing witch, it seems) casts an ancient spell that is designed to bring life to her executed husband. Maybe she’s a bit rusty, though. The spell goes wrong - maybe it was that tree placed at the top of the pentagram? I don’t know - and her husband comes back as a . . . wait for it . . . pissed off Christmas tree and his needles do more than prick!

That’s right. This Christmas tree is the real deal. He walks. He talks. He stalks. He KILLS!

The Killing Tree is ready for his trimming and decorating and his killing. Trust me, you’ve not seen anything more hilarious than a Christmas tree who chases his victims, throwing bulbs at them and strangling them with its string of lights. Oh, and he loves to torture babes in a pool with his (thick and heavy) trunk. The Killing Tree

Hell-bent on getting revenge on the one who caused his execution (when he was a man, you know), the body count keeps rising as the Tree hunts them down. Can anyone stop this killer Christmas tree before he gets to his target? And why would they want to stop this hilarious madness anyway?!

Directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, and starring Sarah Alexandra Marks, Marcus Massey, Judy Tcherniak, Sarah T. Cohen, Kelly Rian Sanson, Ella Starbuck, Lauren Staerck, May Kelly, Nikolai Leon, Richard Harfst, and Gillian Broderick, just wait for the over the top ending which just crystallizes this bizarre - but fun!!! - film.

The Killing Tree will be released November 1 on Digital. Deck the halls with . . . BLOOD!
