UsAnd another friendly hi-def hello to our fellow blu-ray geeks. Welcome to the weekly look at our most wanted titles coming to blu-ray and/or 4K Ultra HD for the week of June 18, 2019.

Kicking off this week on blu-ray is a big one. Jordan Peele's horror materpiece Us is coming home to blu-ray and 4K UHD in multiple editions including a 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital HD edition, a Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD edition and a fantastic looking Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook / 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital HD edition that features a simple pair of gold scissors on the cover. If you've seen the horror film, you certainly understand the significance and it will likely bring a chill to your bones.

Also, something getting our attention this week comes from Shout Factory in the form of the Universal Horror Collection: Volume 1 Blu-ray which includes four films spread across the two disc set. First up is The Black Cat, followed by The Raven, The Invisible Ray, and Black Friday. The set is chock-full of brand new commentaries, featurettes, and other bonus materials. Another significant release this week is Popeye The Sailor: 1940s, Volume 2 Blu-ray and it comes from the Warner Archive Collection. The release contains brand new 4K remasters of 15 classic Popeye cartoons on a single blu-ray disc.

Also coming out on blu-ray this week and making its home video debut is the family-oriented animated film Wonder Park from Paramount that includes a handful of cool bonus features.

Scream Factory is putting out a swell looking blu-ray release of the 1957 classic creature feature, The Monolith Monsters which features a couple of new audio commentaries by film historians and professors of film studies.

Seven other films make our list of twelve significant blu-ray/4K UHD release this week, including Mississippi Burning, The Scorpion King (4K UHD, Corvette Summer, The Running Man, Beach Bum, May it Last, and The Silent Partner.
