Nest of Vampires

An MI5 agent mixing it up with satanic vampires?!  Count me IN!

Crossing bullets with human trafficking in a small town, writer/director Chris Sanders, with this his feature-length debut, presents viewers with what just might be EXACTLY what the UNDEAD doctor ordered this early spring to cure the ongoing quarantine blues.  Mystery! Fangs! Action meets horror as a vengeance mission turns into something UNHOLY.

"Mystery! Fangs! Action meets horror as a vengeance mission turns into something UNHOLY."

That's what happens when you go in search of answers.

Nest of Vampires is a swirling pit of tangled ideas that delivers on the dreadful and, if the unique concept of a MI5 agent trading London for rural England and all the darkness it has to offer as secret sects are uncovered, ignites your imagination then this independent exposé of devilish delight is a slam dunk when it comes to cinematic poison.  Guaranteed.

Mixing slight Hammer Films influences with 007 super-sleuthing, Sanders nails the atmospheric vibes in this thriller as Kit Valentine (Tom Faifoot), a spy who loses his wife in the opening moments of the movie, goes off in search of the crazy people responsible for the killing and the kidnapping of his daughter.  He refuses to surrender her to the darkness that seems to follow his every move . . . and for good reason. Nest of Vampires

But what he is about to step foot into is very dark, very demented, and absolutely out of control.  THAR BE VAMPIRES HERE!

Forget about the cloaks and glitter, though.  These fanged ones are favored by a deep blue mystical stone called the Lapis Lazuli.  This enchanted stone allows the vampires in this satanic cult to walk openly under the sun.  If you love honest detective work and gothic images, then let the ones in Nest of Vampires - while modest in its budget - fill your gooey eyeballs.  Some of them - especially as the lifeless stare up at the ceiling - will haunt you for days.

Starring Jon Paul Gates, Hans Hernke, Tom Hendryk, D'Angeles Campos, Peter Mahoney, Rosanne Priest and Shawn C.Phillips, Nest of Vampires, a Black Coppice films offering, will be available to rent or buy at on March 16.  Forget about the shadows!
