Invisibility knows no bounds! Now, I know it might sound like Jurassic Park parodies should be a thing of the past, but considering the ongoing series is a definite parody of its former self, I say having a clever comedy tackle some of those same recycled themes in a much better way is never a bad thing. Perhaps it might inspire Universal in some way? Perhaps.
Directed by Mike Hermosa and featuring some stellar camera work from Bryan Koss, The Invisible Raptor keeps its intentions clear: ENTERTAIN THE MASSES! And it works in a way the Jurassic Park franchise hasn’t for nearly a decade now . . . its tongue is firmly planted in its cheek. And the chaos caused is top notch fun!
The Invisible Raptor stars Mike Capes, Sandy Martin (Napoleon Dynamite, Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri) David Shackleford (There's Something About Mary, Kingpin), Caitlyn McHugh Stamos (I Am Legend) and an early appearance from Sean Astin (The Goonies, The Lord of The Rings). Full of dinosaur raps and dances, the hilarity is non-stop and so are the puns, yet when things go south, the carnage makes this horror comedy feel complete!
