Before now, we weren't sure what to make of the upcoming Sacha Baron Cohen-headed comical farce, The Dictator. While the film's earlier trailer featured some moments of pure comedic gold, it never made the film seem like anything more than a bunch of loosely tied together skits.

Flash-foward to yesterday when a new trailer was released over at Apple.com. This new feature trailer does get a bit more into the plot, but we're still not sure what to make of it.

Most of the funny bits are repeated from the earlier teaser, but we also learn of Admiral General Aladeen's visit to the United States, a sideplot that strips him of his beard, and tosses the dictator out on the streets of New York to fend for himself. A fish out of water story, one might call it. Or a rags-to-riches tale.

The Dictator is again directed by Larry Charles who was also behind the camera for Borat and Bruno. It stars Megan Fox, Ben Kingsley, John C. Reilly and, of course Sacha Baron Cohen.
