Hobo With a ShotgunIts name alone is interesting enough to garner our full attention, and we've been on high alert ever since the trailer came out a few months ago, but now we get a cool new poster for Hobo With a Shotgun just in time for the film's kick-off at this weekend's SXSW film festival in Austin, Texas.

Hobo With a Shotgun, which will begin arriving at theaters some time after its run though SXSW, stars Rutger Hauer, Brian Downey and Gregory Smith. It is about a vigilante homeless man who pulls into a new city and finds himself trapped in urban chaos, a city where crime rules and where the city's crime boss reigns. Seeing an urban landscape filled with armed robbers, corrupt cops, abused prostitutes and even a pedophile Santa, the Hobo goes about bringing justice to the city the best way he knows how - with a 20-gauge shotgun. Mayhem ensues when he tries to make things better for the future generation. Street justice will indeed prevail.

Did that just say pedophile santa? We're in!

Anyway, you can view the stylishly twisted poster below that contains many interesting details from the movie, including a virtual river of blood and body parts, a dead prostitute, the "need money for lawn mower" signboard, and of course the hobo and the shotgun. The poster was designed by artist Jeff Proctor for the Alamo Drafthouse's Mondo collection.

And for those who missed it when we posted it earlier, you can also see the sick trailer for Hobo With a Shotgun below as well:
