"The incredible true story of Casa Hogar, the Mexican boys home that entered the world's biggest fishing tournament to save their orphanage."

Blue Miracle stars Dennis Quaid as Wade the boat captain who is reluctantly assigned to a group of kids from the Casa Hogar, a Mexican orphanage that was ravaged by a hurricane and desperately needs money.

It looks like Quaid's captain Wade will be the crusty old seaman we've seen in so many of these open seas adventure films. He claims to have won the tournament twice but grouses when he discovers the makeup of his crew. But it's not difficult to see that it is all heading to a heartfelt and wonderful resolution.

The film also stars Jimmy Gonzalez who is in charge of the orphanage and arranges for the boys to enter the fishing tournament.

Blue Miracle is directed by Julio Quintana who co-writes along with Chris Dowling. The film will debut only on Netflix on May 27.
