Of course the big news here is that Orion Pictures plans on keeping the film's original August 21, 2020 theatrical release date despite the Coronavirus pandemic that has had theaters shuttered since March. Cinemas in some states have been given the go-ahead to begin the reopening process, but exactly how that will play out has yet to be seen.

Bill and Ted Face the Music is directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest), written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure) - and produced by Scott Kroopf, Alex Lebovici, and Steve Ponce.

Orion Pictures presents Bill and Ted Face the Music, in theaters via United Artists Releasing on August 21, 2020.
